Human Expanded T Regulatory Cells
This Treg population is obtained by ex vivo expansion of nTreg (Tregs isolated directly from blood). The expanded nTregs show the classical regulatory T cell phenotype, i.e., CD4+, CD25hi, and CD127-. In addition, the majority of the cells show intracellular expression of FoxP3. These nTregs also have the capacity to suppress in vitro T cell proliferation (e.g., anti-CD3 driven or MLR).
