HemaPrime™ Cryopreserved Leukopaks
HemaPrime™ Cryopreserved Leukopaks are intended to meet all your cell therapy project needs from the research and development (R&D) phase, where controlled cell numbers and guaranteed low granulocyte counts are beneficial, to the process development phase where inherent differences between donors are important to consider. A consistent manufacturing process between HemaPrime™ and GMPrime™ Cryopreserved Leukopaks (GMP-compliant leukopaks) enables a seamless transition from RUO to GMP-compliant cellular starting materials.
HemaPrime™ cryopreserved leukopaks are produced using continuous flow centrifugal technology (Spectra Optia® Apheresis System) directly into a collection bag containing ACD-A anticoagulant. HemaPrime™ Leukopaks are processed on-site shortly after collection and cryopreserved in CryoStor® CS10 freeze media using strict and consistent protocols, thus preserving quality and stability of the mononuclear cells.
Note: A discount is applied that is proportional to the number of cryopreserved leukopak bags ordered. Up to eight cryopreserved leukopak bags can be included in a single shipment originating from one of our donor centers. Once received, either prepare cells for long-term storage in liquid nitrogen vapor phase or thaw for use. Storage in liquid phase nitrogen is NOT recommended. Short-term storage of cells (less than 2 weeks) at -80°C is acceptable but should be minimized to ensure maximum stability. Once thawed, samples must be used immediately.
