Human B Cells

Human B cells, also known as B lymphocytes, originate in the bone marrow and form the core of the adaptive immune response. Their primary functions are to produce antibodies, which mediate the response to invasive pathogens and to act as antigen presenting cells (APCs) to activate T cells.
